HOTOKIの陶芸体験は、3つのコースからお選びいただけます。1組貸切のゆったりとした空間で、陶芸家の清水久を中心に一人ひとり丁寧にレクチャー。作りたい形のリクエストも可能ですので、初めての方でも自由な陶芸体験ができます。体験の後はカフェスペースでお好きなドリンクをお楽しみいただけます。
HOTOKI offers 3 pottery experiences that you can choose from. In a relaxed space reserved for one group, pottery artist Hisashi Kiyomizu will teach each person carefully. You can also request to make the shape you want, so even if you are a beginner, you can freely enjoy the pottery experience. After the experience, you can enjoy your favorite drink in the café space.
石膏型を使って器を作る「型起こし」と、手回しろくろを使った「手びねり」。それぞれの技法で１点ずつ、計2点のうつわを作ります。「型起こし」ではボウルまたはプレートを。「手びねり」ではお碗、お皿、花器などを、電動ろくろではできない自由な造形でお作りいただけます。

Make two pieces of pottery, one each using the plaster mold technique called "kataokoshi" and the coil building (hand-building) technique using a hand wheel. In "kataokoshi," you can make a bowl or a plate, and in coil building, you can create a cup, a plate, a vase, etc., with a free-form design that is not possible with an electric potter's wheel.

This is an authentic pottery-making experience using an electric potter's wheel. You can make Japanese rice bowls, small bowls, cups, vases, etc. You will create 3 to 4 pieces within the timeframe, and then select the piece to be fired.
*You cannot make pieces that exceed 20 cm in diameter.

Both parents and children can enjoy pottery during HOTOKI’s family experience course. Children pound clay, stretch it, and press stamps to create a plate. If there is extra time left, kids are free to make what they like. Adults will make pottery by coil building. You can choose and create your favorite piece. Cancellation
当日のキャンセルにつきましては、体験料の100%をキャンセル料としていただいております。また、無断キャンセルにつきましても、体験料の100%をキャンセル料として頂戴いたします。
For cancellations on the day of, 100% of the experience fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. In addition, 100% of the experience fee will be charged as a cancellation fee even if you cancel without notice.
外階段を上がり、2階入り口よりお入りください。ショップカウンターにて受付をいたします。お申込用紙にご記入後、体験の流れについてスタッフが説明いたします。
Please go up the outside stairs and enter from the 2nd floor entrance. We will register at the store counter. After filling in the application form, the staff will explain the flow of the experience.
工房へとお進みいただき、体験が始まります。一組貸切ですので、ゆっくりお楽しみください。体験中の写真撮影も可能です。
Please proceed to the workshop and the experience will begin promptly. It's reserved for one group at a time, so please enjoy it leisurely. It is okay to take pictures during the experience.
うつわ作りが終わったら、HOTOKIオリジナル釉薬7色の中からお好きな色をお選びください。
Once you have finished creating the vessel, choose your favorite color from the 7 HOTOKI original glaze colors.
体験のあとは、2階のカフェスペースにてお好きなドリンクをお楽しみいただきます。
After the experience, enjoy your favorite drink at the cafe space on the 2nd floor.

それぞれ何名まで体験可能ですか？一人でも体験できますか？
How many people can experience each course? Can I experience it alone?
ろくろ体験は2名様まで、⼿びねり体験と親⼦体験は4名様までとなっております。また、ろくろ体験と手びねり体験はおひとり様での体験も可能です。
Up to 2 people for the Electric Potter’s Wheel Experience, and up to 4 people for Coil Building and family Experience. It is also possible to experience Electric Potter’s Wheel Experience and Coil Building Experience by yourself.
同一グループ内で別々の体験はできますか？
Can I have different experiences within the same group?
手びねり体験とろくろ体験に分かれて行うことが可能です。
ただし、スタッフの状況によっては対応できないことがありますので、ご予約の前に一度お問い合わせください。なお、親子体験と他の体験を組み合わせることはできません。
It is possible to divide into a Coil Building Experience and a Electric Potter’s Wheel Experience. However, depending on the staffing situation, we may not be able to accommodate, so please contact us once before making a reservation. Family Experience cannot be combined with other experiences.
爪が長い・またはネイルアートをしたまま体験できますか？
Can I experience it with long nails or with nail art?
体験することは可能です。ただし、⽖が長すぎると怪我の原因になる可能性がありますので、可能であれば短く整えてきていただくことをおすすめしています。
It is possible to experience it. However, if the nails are too long, it may cause injury, so we recommend that you trim them as short as possible.
どんな服装で行けば良いですか？
What kind of clothes should I wear?
エプロンをご用意しておりますが、泥が飛ぶなどして衣服が汚れてしまう可能性がございます。汚れると困るお洋服やお履き物は避けていただいた方が安心です。
We have an apron, but there is a possibility that your clothes may get dirty due to splashing mud from clay. It is safer to avoid wearing clothes and footwear that you don't want to get dirty.

The basic fee for the Family Experience is for a total of 2 people: 1 adult and 1 child.
Up to 4 people can attend the experience at the same time.

4歳以下の子供でも親子体験はできますか？
Can children under the age of 4 participate in the Family Experience?
対象年齢以下のお子様でも体験していただくことはできますが、その場合、体験される親御様とは別で、お子様につきっきりでのサポートが可能な親御様がおられることをおすすめしております。親御様による大幅なサポートがなくても体験できる目安の年齢として、対象年齢を4歳からとさせていただいております。
Children under the target age can also attend the experience, but in that case, we recommend another parent who can support the child to be there in addition to the parent who is attending the experience. The target age is set at 4 years old and older as a recommended guideline age that can attend the experience without significant support from parents.
13歳以上の子供と親子体験はできますか？

13歳以上のお子様に関しては大人扱いとさせていただいておりますので、親子体験ではなくろくろ体験か手びねり体験でのご予約をお願いいたします。
Children over the age of 13 are treated as adults, so please make a reservation for Electric Potter’s Wheel Experience or Coil Building (Hand-building) Experience instead of the Family Experience.

予約をキャンセルしたいのですが
I would like to cancel my reservation.
体験⽇前⽇の18時までであれば、キャンセル料⾦はかかりません。⼈数の減員はキャンセル料⾦は発⽣しません。当⽇キャンセルは、基本料⾦の100%を頂戴しております。
また、無断キャンセルについては基本料⾦の100%を頂戴し、今後のご利用をお断りさせていただきます。
No cancellation fee will be charged until 6:00 PM on the day before the reservation date. No cancellation fee will be charged if the number of participants is reduced. Cancellation on the day of will be charged 100% of the base fee.
If there is a cancellation without notice (no call, no show), we will charge 100% of the base fee and refuse the future reservation from the same party.
